Sometimes we are left with a choice.
Something was said, or not said.
And we are left wondering…..
We do not know for sure the intent of the other person.
So we have a choice.
So I propose a new idea for situations like this.
Give the benefit of the doubt.
Giving someone the benefit of the doubt says more about YOU and your character than the person you are giving it to.
Choose to not be offended.
Choosing to not be offended shines light on a situation that could be detrimental. And you have some control over that happening.
Don’t take things so seriously.
Be the person that is big enough…to laugh and shake it off.
And if something was said….or not said..
Again. it says more about you….and who you are…to be able to do that.
Just realize how you respond is your choice. The old saying that we judge others actions and our intent…is so true. Go about things differently.
Be strong enough to make the right choices, even if they are hard.
Be the kind of person today you want to be remembered as tomorrow.
